Priority Judges

EverythingTab provides a simple way to prioritize certain judges when assigning and changing judges.  You can set, on each judge, whether they should be a high priority or low priority judge.

High Priority judges have their commitment score zeroed out each time you pair/section a round or try to change an existing judge assignment.  By zeroing out the their score, they will automatically be placed at the top of the potential judge lists. While this is not a guarantee they will judge each round due to other judging constraints such as having seen  events or entries before, they will very likely get ballots.

Low Priority judges have their commitment score set to 100% each time you pair/section a round or try to change an existing judge assignment.  By making their score 100%, they will always be put at the end of the assignment lists.  Like with high priority judges, this does not guarantee judges are not assigned, but it is very unlikely if you have a large enough pool that the judge will get an assignment.

You can either set a judge has having priority on the individual judge entry page by going to Entries->Judges:

and clicking on a judge to pull up their judge entry screen. The Priority toggles are listed under the commitment section.

or you can go to the "Priority Judges" section on the Entries->Judges page.  This will allow you to quickly set multiple judges.  You can search in the box (for example, for 'Hired'), toggle judges as priority, and click update.

Then you go to change judges, judge with priority will also be listed at the top with a special notation indicating this is either a high priority or low priority judge:
