Shuffle Speaking Order

An advanced pair/section tool can quickly shuffle the speaking order for individual events and/or congress events.

1) Admin->Pair Section->Advanced->Shuffle Speaking Order

Scroll down to find the Shuffle Speaking Order tool and click 'configure.'

This tool can be helpful if you have made a lot of adds, drops, or changes to sections and want to randomize the speaking order again.

The first option is whether you want FTN to track each entries speaking order and try to balance entries in the top third, middle third, or bottom third of each section. While not perfect this can avoid a competitor from always going first or always going last.

Or you can select randomly shuffle a single schedule block which will ask you to then select the schedule block:

You can then select which IE and/or Congress events you want to shuffle, confirm you understand what this tool is doing, and click shuffle speaking order.
