Postings
Postings are how competitors and judges find out where to go — this is the page you'll use every single round.
1) Admin->Pair/Section->Postings

First, pick a Schedule Block. FTN tells you right away if the round hasn't started yet, is starting soon, or has already started, so you know if you're posting early or late. This can help make sure you aren't about to send out the wrong schedule block.

2) Choose events and what to include
Select which events to post (or use All/None). This lets you pick which events you are generating postings for. For example, tournament directors sometimes want to send out Extemp postings earlier than for other events.

3) Next, pick what shows on the posting — school name, competitor names, judge info, ballot codes, and a handful of advanced options like video room links or a Congress seating chart. Most of these default to whatever your event settings already specify. For ePostings you can skip all these options since the competitor gets the information they need.
You can decide whether to, at the same time you generate postings, make the postings available online. This can help you save a step.
Finally, click the 'Advanced' link to view the advanced postings option explained below.

4) Send Postings to the appropriate place.
You can then click the button to send the postings either to the screen (best for viewing), PDF (best for printing), Excel, or via email/text/app notification. Note for ePostings coaches can receive a copy if you have that setting turned on under Setup->Tab Settings->Tournament Settings->Coach ePostings Email.
Good to know: Post Online only ever turns visibility on — there's no “make private” option here. If you post an event by mistake, go to Pair/Section → Public View instead, where every event has its own on/off toggle (and that page can also turn visibility off). Public View is also where you'll see a countdown if an event is set to auto-release.
Since postings are generated fresh from your current pairing data every time, if you swap a judge on Change Judges, you can reprint the postings and/or resending them to competitors and coaches. just come back and re-send the posting to pick up the change — there's nothing to manually “regenerate.”
Advanced Options
Most users will never need to use the options under advanced but here is a brief description:
Indicate debate results: if checked, the debate postings will put the winning team in bold. Sometimes helpful if you are posting results for competitors and/or need a copy for yourself to analyze the round.
Ballot Codes: if toggled, the ballot codes will be printed alongside the sections on each posting. This can be helpful if you need to cross-reference specific ballots with the postings for a ballot table.
Ballot Order: if toggled, sections are sorted by ballot code order. This can be sometimes helpful again for a ballot table that is checking in paper ballots.
Multiple Entry *: This will indicate with an *(asterisk) entries that are entered in more than one event in the schedule block for individual events. Can be helpful if manually adjusting sectioning as staff.
Section Numbers: if toggled, this will include the section number for each section. This is different than the ballot code as each event starts with section 1 for each schedule block.
Double Flight - By Room: if toggled, when debate postings are double flighted, the pairings are sorted by room. May make it easier to check in paper ballots.
Video Room Links: if toggled, video room links are included in the postings. Can be helpful when viewing on the screen if you need to quickly jump to specific section video rooms.
Strike Sheet: This will generate an debate strike sheet for the events selected. Often helpful for IPDA or debate events where competitors strike.
