Balancing School Regions in IE Sections

Some tournaments (such as Phi Rho Pi) have a goal of balancing different regions in individual event sections. The goal is to spread out students from the same region into different sections so one region does not knock itself out during the tournament as well as ensure students are competing against students from various regions in preliminary rounds. Note that this section requires you to first turn on that you will be using AFA or PRP regions for your tournament.

1) Setup->Tab Settings

2) Individual Events->Sectioning->Balance Regions

You can also set this setting on a per-event basis from Setup->Events->sectioning.
